Standing terms
Black changes nothing about the rules.
The circle is smaller. The mechanics are identical. Every protection that applies to a first-night guest applies to a member of the circle, without exception.
Escrowed, like everyone
A Black member's money is held in escrow until they are seated. Released at confirmed seating. Refunded automatically if the table doesn't happen.
Priced, like everyone
Per-seat prices are posted upfront and identical for every buyer. Black membership confers no discount and no surcharge.
Scored, like everyone
A Black host carries the same visible reliability score, built only from delivered tables. The circle does not shield a score.
Terms of tenure
A membership is held, not owned.
Black membership cannot be bought, transferred, gifted, or inherited. There is no fee that secures it, no introduction that accelerates it, and no application to submit.
It can be lost. Conduct that would suspend any member suspends a Black member the same way, and the seat returns to the circle.
